Disinfecting: Sterigent was tested against Staphylococculs aureus, Samonella choleraesuis and pseudomonas aeruginosa in accordance with the Use-Dilution Confirmation procedures as outlinedby AOAC. Results have shown Sterigent to be an excellent bactericide at a 1:43 dilution. To clean and disinfect wall, floors and other hard environmental surfaces, make a disinfectant-cleaner solution of 3 ounces of Sterigent Germicidal Cleaner per gallon of water. Apply this solution with a mop, cloth or sprayer.

Sanitization: Sterigent was found to be an effective sanitizer at a 1:225 dilution. To reduce bacterial counts to a safe level on food contact surfaces, first clean the area with a solution of 3 ounces Sterigent per gallon of water. Then sanitize with a solution of 0.6 ounces of Sterigent Germicidal Cleaner per gallon of water. Apply this solution with a mop, cloth, sprayer or as a dip. Food contact surfaces must be rinsed with potable water prior to reuse Deodorization: When used as directed for cleaning and disinfecting, this solution will effectively eliminate noxious odors.
